About This Product:

This duvet is made with care in Canada with Canadian fill. The shell is 400 thread count cotton – soft and quiet. The duvet is filled with 700 loft duck down farmed by Hutterites in Alberta, Canada. Down fill is soft and luxurious, made up of tiny, fluffy clusters. The fill is high loft, which means it is high quality and very warm per ounce. This is why you’ll find this duvet is very lightweight. Just a little bit of fill goes a long way in terms of warmth!

Opt for Regular Weight if your room temperature is around 19 – 21 degrees C or if you’re fairly warm when you sleep. All Season Weight is best if your room temperature is 16 – 18 degrees C or if you’re a cooler sleeper.

I'm so glad I found Canadian Down and Feather!
In my new living space and for the most part have been getting Am@z@n deliveries weekly. But the duvet market on there is a confusing,hot mess and I went on a search for CA down
I probably could have been happy with just a feather duvet. Was slightly worried that, though warm, the down duvet would seem lacking due to the weight difference. But I wanted something special.
I narrowed my terms to; full down, a quieter fabric and affordability and so chose the 25 oz Queen Hutterite White down duvet. I am more that happy!
Though lightweight, it conveys a gentle, safe, warm softness that can almost not be described; as if an angel has floated by and dropped a celestial blanket over you. One with a fantastic 20 year warranty too! The cotton is soft, and i gave it time to fluff up. During that week I slipped under to test it and fell asleep, mid day. 🙃
Also, personally I couldn't use it over 21° It's pleasantly warm but not over that! The loft is quite nice, and again, quite light that I think people whose feet don't like pressure would be so satisfied w this.
I feel great about my purchase given all the high standards, buying info and comparison charts available. So much so that now there is a sale, I've come back and bought more pillows and some smaller,heavier duvets for movie nights, some as gifts. Also,this initial duvet arrived over a week sooner than expected, wow! I'm now a huge fan and will recommend to any and all.

Sleeping in a Cloud

Could hardly wait the arrival of my new down duvet. Yippee yaaaaaaay - JUST LOVE IT. It's been 35+ yrs since I bought a new down duvet, my old one has been retired to the quest bedroom (still good) but too light weight for this old retirement house I bought .
This Canadian Down and Feather Co. duvet is of high quality materials inside and out.
Being raised with the old 1950's style European Duvets (large open bag, no divider chambers), by morning all fillings were at the feet.
I am so warm and comfortable with this new duvet it's like sleeping in a cuddly cloud. The duvet has multiple sewn in chambers to retain the down in its place. I also ordered the duvet cover (in a taupe colour and has 4 snaps to hold duvet and cover inplace, plus 3 sides are zippered for easy on/off ), the colour complements my existing bed sheet set.
I had bought (earlier) 2 new pillows (Canadian Down and Feather Co, pillows ) from Needles Mattress store this past summer. I liked the quality so much I decided to get the duvet and cover for myself for Christmas.
Thanks so much to all of the Folks at Canadian Down and Feather Co for such warm and cozy bedding products .

  • What's the difference between this duvet and the Hutterite Goose Down Duvet?

    The only difference is the species of the fill! The Hutterite Goose Down Duvet is filled with goose down and the Hutterite White Down Duvet is filled with duck down.   • I’ve read that the lower thread count duvet are noisy. What thread count do you recommend I purchase to avoid this?

    This product would be a great choice! If you're sensitive to the rustling noise of fabric, try something above 300TC. 400TC is pretty soft and quiet!
