Yes, these pillows are very soft. If you compare the fill weights of these pillows to our other down pillows, you'll notice they are less full. Down pillows are very soft, sinky, and malleable to begin with - that's the nature of down! Even in the fullest, firmest version, down just doesn't have the heft or structure to provide much support in pillows. And the White Goose Down Pillows are designed to be softer than the rest for those who like a flatter style, minimally supportive pillow.
Furthermore, King pillows less supportive than shorter sizes.

If you like the overall feel of a down pillow but just need a tad more support, we have several other options that are fuller. Alternatively, if you need a lot more support, you might consider a pillow containing feather (we have several options of these as well!) Or, you can go with microfiber fill for an in-between. Hi Barbara, I'm so sorry to hear this one didn't work out for you. I tried looking up your order, but perhaps you ordered from another retailer? In terms of the cotton shell, it is fairly low thread count (260). The lower the thread count, the crisper and starchier the shell. Fortunately, we have a few other down pillows available in higher thread counts! Are you finding the fill is not soft either? Do you mean that the fill is somehow hard? Or that the pillow is too firm? This is our least full down pillow, and the nature of down is to be soft in feel, so I'd definitely like to investigate this further.
