Terms of Service
Prices
Prices, as listed in the price list, are presented in Canadian Dollars and are subject to change without notice. All prices are F.O.B. Toronto.
Taxes
All sales, use, excise, and other federal, provincial, and municipal taxes applicable to a sale shall be paid by the purchaser unless the purchaser is eligible for, and submits completed tax exemption certificates to Canadian Down & Feather Company.
Credit Terms
At its sole discretion, Canadian Down & Feather Company may extend credit terms to qualified customers. Customers interested in obtaining credit terms should submit a completed Credit Application form for review. Once approved, accounts will receive terms of Net 30 days from date of invoice. No orders will be shipped on accounts with balances over 30 days. Interest of 1.5% will be charged per month to overdue accounts. Canadian Down & Feather Company requires that initial orders be prepaid or shipped on C.O.D. basis. For more information, please see Terms & Conditions of Credit.
Minimum Order
Orders placed with Canadian Down & Feather Company must meet a minimum order value of $200.00 before shipping and taxes. Any orders below this amount will be held and grouped with other orders to meet the minimum order value.
Order Process
All orders must include your purchase order number (if required), product code, description of the item, and quantity. Please fax or e-mail all orders. No phone orders are accepted. If an order confirmation is sent, please verify that all information is correct. Canadian Down & Feather Company will not be responsible for errors for which order confirmations are sent.
Custom Orders
Canadian Down & Feather Company will produce custom product according to customers' specifications. Customers should first speak with a customer service representative to determine the viability of the customers request and an approximate cost associated with the same. However, an official price will only be determined once the order has been received in writing by fax and/or e-mail. If a customer wishes to purchase a particular custom product on an ongoing basis, the Sales Representative for that region may be of additional assistance for pricing and availability requirements.
Shipping
All orders are subject to shipping charges. Canadian Down & Feather Company will select a suitable carrier, unless a preferred one has been stipulated in advance. In most cases, where credit terms exist, charges for shipping will be billed to the customer on the same invoice as the goods that are being shipped, or shortly thereafter. Where credit terms do not exist, goods will be shipped with shipping charges collect. All shipping charges are the responsibility of and to be fully paid by the customer. Canadian Down & Feather Company assumes no responsibility for freight charges, damages, or lost goods that occur during freight.
Changes or Cancellations
Changes and/or cancellations are accepted for regular orders that have not been packed and/or shipped. Changes and/or cancellations should be sent in writing by fax or e-mail and verify by phone that the change and/or cancellation has been accepted.
Returns
No Returns of merchandise will be accepted by Canadian Down & Feather Company.
Claims
Under circumstances, where orders are received by customers, in which there are defects, wrong items received, improperly packaged merchandise, or other reasons for a claim, customers should submit a completed Claim form to obtain a Return Authorization No. Arrangements to return the merchandise, if necessary, will be made when a Return Authorization No. is issued. Claims without a proper Return Authorization No. and/or collect shipments will not be accepted.
Warranty
Canadian Down & Feather Company's products are manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of quality and workmanship and are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for a period stipulated on each of the products. For more information, customers should review the particular products' guarantee/warranty and direct any questions to a customer service representative.

All sizes and weights listed in the price list are approximate and may not exactly represent the actual product. The listed specifications are for basic reference purposes only. However, Canadian Down & Feather Company will make every effort to ensure there are mimimal material differences between the listed specifications and the actual product.
